A Chaplet of Saint Michael, also known as the “Rosary of Angels,” is a beautiful way to honor Saint Michael and the nine Angelic Choirs, while asking for protection against malice and the snares of the devil through devotional prayer.

Sophisticated and so special, this Righteous & Regal St. Michael Chaplet was designed using high quality, fire-polished, faceted glass beads. The Hail Mary beads are smaller in size (6mm) and have a unique and gorgeous, golden, pearlized finish. I chose gold to symbolize the holy and heavenly presence of the angels and as a reminder of the glory and majesty of God. Gracefully contrasting the Hail Mary beads, are the alabaster white, faceted glass beads with a subtle, luster finish. Delicately detailed vintage bronze bead caps add a touch of warmth and heirloom quality to the Our Father beads. White was specifically chosen to serve as a symbol of the purity, holiness, virtue and reverence of the angels. A traditional Miraculous Medal centerpiece features in Latin, “Regina Sine Labe Originali Concepta O.P.N.” The O.P.N. at the end stands for “ora pro nobis.” The Latin to English translation is, “Queen conceived without original sin, pray for us.” Making this Chaplet especially unique and special, is the rose shaped locket revealing St. Michael and a guardian angel when opened. Both the centerpiece and locket are made in Italy with exceptional detail.

Through each bead, stainless steel wire is looped by hand and a closed jump ring links each bead keeping your devotional chaplet from kinking.

Laying flat, this chaplet measures 16” long.
St. Michael Locket measurement: 0.50” wide x 0.75” tall

    A Brief History
In 1751, St. Michael appeared to a Portuguese nun, Antonia d’Astonac, He told her to honor him by nine salutations corresponding to the nine Choirs of Angels. He promised that those who would practice this devotion in his honor would have an escort of nine angels – one from each Choir – when approaching Holy Communion. He also promised that those who recite the Chaplet every day would have his and the holy angels’ continual assistance through life as well as deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relations.
