December is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception
Hello! I'm Annie Hunt. I'm an artist, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. I have always had a creative spirit and a deep-rooted faith. Growing up, my Catholic faith was a part of my everyday life, including weekly Mass and Catholic high school. With a solid foundation of faith, education and love, I attended the University of Kansas and majored in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design. As I went to work and my career developed, I had a deep, spiritual desire calling me for something more. Always stoking my creative fire with some sort of artistic outlet, I began making jewelry, which led me to making Rosaries. Making my first Rosary, I remember the overwhelming sense of peace, excitement, love and pure joy that came over me. I knew that I had tapped into a God-given talent. Years later, a great friend of mine taught me how to knit. Again, I was filled with the same feeling that I was using a gift God had given me.
I began nurturing these talents in my free time, making gifts for family and friends. I heard time and again, "you need to sell what you make!" And as life happened, I found myself with just enough time to hone my skills and talents and not enough time to translate them into a business. I met and married the most wonderful man in the world, and after years of praying for the gift of children, we were blessed with two, happy and talented sons. I left my graphic design career to be a stay-at-home mom and nine years later, here I am.
During these most precious times of raising our family, I have had the support and encouragement of my husband to pursue my creative journey of Rosary making, jewelry design, knitting, painting, and photography. I am so excited and blessed beyond measure to share the passion for my faith with you through each item I create! I love that what I make helps to spread the gift of prayer, faith and love throughout our community!
Prayer has always been at the center of my life — and creating rosaries and faith-based jewelry brings so much fulfillment to my days. It is amazing how God blesses each of us with different talents, and with everything I create, it is beyond humbling and very moving to know that I am using my talent to glorify Him. There is something very comforting in carrying a rosary every day and wearing religious jewelry. I am a very visual person and experience overwhelming peace seeing images of Jesus, Mary and the saints. They are reminders to me of all the ways God has revealed Himself to us so that we may draw closer to Him.
At Loop & Bauble I am able to bring my designs to you – sophisticated and beautiful faith-based jewelry, rosaries, and more! All items on my website are made by hand right here in the USA by yours truly! I source quality materials such as natural stone beads, lovely Czech glass beads, and Italian-made centerpieces, crucifixes, and medals for my rosaries and faith-based jewelry.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me. Faithfully creating my jewelry and rosaries brings me an incredible sense of peace and joy… and my hope is that this same sense of peace and joy is received through each Loop & Bauble creation.
