A St. Benedict crucifix was specifically chosen because he is the patron saint of students. The beads chosen for this Rosary are natural Hematite beads which have a striking gunmetal color. Collectively, these beads give this Rosary a calming, grounding weight in the hand, without being heavy. The Hail Mary beads are round in shape, while the Our Father beads are oblong, subtly setting them apart. Both the crucifix and centerpiece are die-cast and silver oxidized in Italy with amazing detail and the rich gunmetal color of the hematite beads draws out and enhances these details.
